Trouble to me

OK so obviously  this is about a woman and in this case it's my ex.I absolutely loved that woman and I changed my life completely to make her happy and that was the biggest mistake of my life. I had to vent my anger and disgust at what happened to us so I wrote this song to protest yet proclaim how madly in love I was to this woman. I will never allow this to happen to me again I can promise you this.

Why do we music it?

Choosing Your Destiny

Why did I pick up the guitar?
Why dose anyone pick up an instrument or begin signing?

Some people say that it's in our genes while others say it's coincidence.
I personally think it's a mixture of them both plus a special ingredient which changes according to the individual in speaking at that precise time. For me I do believe that it was my mother listening to her Elaine Paige,Celine Dion and Roy Orbinson cd's in her room after a night out.She was a single mother of five after finally deciding to leave my alcoholic father, who beat her after loosing his sanity to alcohol. So now she looses herself in her dream world with the aid of her music and it truly had an Enormous impact on me as a 17 year old boy. Also a young lad who lived on my steet was in a band who dedicated themselves to signing U2 songs. That made me really want to get up and let rip with my voice and I have never looked back since. So for me my first musical instrument was my voice.I then progressed onto the acoustic guitar and then the electric guitar.I have a longing to learn the piano but that will have to wait because my eldest wants to learn piano and she obviously comes before her daddy.

Covers

Although doing covers gives us more freedom of range and artistically speaking we sometimes do better than if we were to write and sing our own song on a guitar.

It takes a long time and practice for a singer songwriter to be completely free artistically while playing an instrument. Most singers achieve almost perfect performances when they aren't playing an instrument.

So when I see a person almost perform a perfect set while playing I have nothing but great respect for their hard work.

Freedom

Behind the freedom

When I began writing Freedom I had a clear cut idea what I wanted. I had to talk about myself as a young boy, to show people that everybody can overcome their fears.

I felt obliged to talk about how society has changed for the worse. Also the suffering, that is the product of,selfishness and corrupt societies in the world over.

People are really tired of the outrageous behavior of politicians, famous people taking backhanders, avoiding taxes and strangling the life out of our society.

My idols of rock!

I have been crazy about music ever since I heard my first U2 Sunday Bloody Sunday. Then I began to widen my love of music by expanding the fields of music I watched/listened too. When I finally set my ears on the king of pop I went to never land instantly. The man was able to make magic with his voice, moves, imagination & style. Thriller was a world wide hit and the enigmatic Micheal Jackson began to fuel my inspiration.

Not Here(Song)

Not Here!

When you know someone all your life like a friend or girl/boy friend, husband/wife, Brother or Sister & Parents you grow a bond that's hard to break even when they get seriously ill.But what those moments do cause is an uncontrollable fear for them and everyone around them.Well that happened to me and this song is dedicated to that wonderful person who I miss loads since he still lives in Ireland. I love you mate and you know who you are. ^_^

Ancient Old Acapella

Ancient Old

What if just what if angels were just as vile and evil as the demons they fight and our only savior is the heartless Vampire who preys on us and feeds from us.How ironic would that be?

U2 or not to U2.

When love comes to Town

Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.

I was a sailor, I was lost in sea
I was under the waves, before love rescued me
I was a fighter I could turn on a threat
Now I stand accused of the things I've said.

When love comes to town,
I'm gonna jump that train
When love comes to town,
I'm gonna catch that flame.
Maybe I was wrong to ever let you down,
But I did what I did before love came to town.

Used to make love under a red sunset,
I was making promises I was soon to forget.
She was pale as the lace of her wedding gown,
But I left her standing before love came to town.

Ran into a juke joint when I heard a guitar scream,
The notes were turning blue when I fell into a dream
As the music played I saw my life turn around
That was the day before love came to town.

Love comes to town,
I'm gonna jump that train
When love comes to town,
I'm gonna catch that flame.
Maybe I was wrong to ever let you down,
But I did what I did before love came to town.

I was there when they crucified my lord
I held the scabbard when the soldier drew his sword
I threw the dice when they pierced his side,
But I've seen love conquer the great divide.

Yeah, Yeah, Yeah...

An immense song for such a young upcoming band that were Bono/ U2. The words are so over powering and deep that BB king himself was happy to play along with U2 at the tender age of 62 years. The magician of plucking, stroking and basically making love to his strings was inspired by said song so he created a unique set of rifts to enrich the already accomplished song even more so.

To this day "When Love Comes To Town" is one of the all time greats and will remain to be so until the end of days!

As an Irish lad growing up in Dublin it was hard not to like the Greatest Irish Rock band of all time. You'd walk down the street seeing other kids wearing Bono's ridiculous hair do's and one such person was my neighbour Fitzgerald. He was and still is a U2 nut and with great reason.U2 opened the doorway to reason and heart as they sang songs charged with political tension and focused their words on the suffering going on around them.

The original 3rd album art work.

Another Electrically Charged song was Sunday Bloody Sunday.Being from Ireland it is easy to remember that horrible sad day in Irish history (Northern). This song could have easily been mistaken as a rebel song if it were not for Bono's theatrics before singing the song.He would state it as not being a rebel song all the while wrapping himself up in a white flag to symbolize peace.

Sunday Bloody Sunday Lyric's

Yes

I can't believe the news today
Oh, I can't close my eyes and make it go away
How long, how long must we sing this song?
How long? How long?
'Cause tonight we can be as one, tonight

Broken bottles under children's feet
Bodies strewn across the dead end streets
But I won't heed the battle call
It puts my back up, puts my back up against the wall

Sunday, Bloody Sunday
Sunday, Bloody Sunday
Sunday, Bloody Sunday

And the battle's just begun
There's many lost but tell me who has won
The trench is dug within our hearts
And mothers, children, brothers, sisters torn apart

Sunday, Bloody Sunday
Sunday, Bloody Sunday

How long, how long must we sing this song?
How long? How long?
'Cause tonight we can be as one
Tonight, tonight

Sunday, Bloody Sunday
Sunday, Bloody Sunday

Wipe the tears from your eyes
Wipe your tears away
Oh, wipe your tears away
Oh, wipe your tears away
Oh, wipe your blood shot eyes

Sunday, Bloody Sunday
Sunday, Bloody Sunday

And it's true we are immune when fact is fiction and TV reality
And today the millions cry
We eat and drink while tomorrow they die
The real battle just begun to claim the victory Jesus won on

Sunday Bloody Sunday
Sunday Bloody Sunday

The marching drum beat and majestic voice of Bono brought fort a feeling of togetherness that was lacking during the troublesome times in Ireland. It was an emotionally charged bomb that never seemed to explode on U2.It was a very risky and yet dangerous move to address the political troubles of the times but U2 did so triumphantly.
