XFactor Categories.

I've been watching XFactor since its
conception in 2004. In all this time I haven't truly seen a categories system implemented. The music business is not just about singing, if Only it was so it would be so easy.

Lets be honest here for a moment, the X gnome isn't only resigned to singers. I have seen some amazing musician/singers,singer/songwriters,composer/musician and all  rounder performer(musician, singer, composer & songwriter). Yet on the XFactor they mainly(98%) focus on singers. Why can't we have a winners section for each of these categories and more?

I for one would love to see the XFactor promoting every aspect of music and not just the singing side of it. We need other influences like Lindsey Stirling & Jon Gomm inspiring our children to be more than just a singer, to be the complete entertainer should be our GOAL!

X-Factor or Not?

To X-Factor Or Not to X-Factor?

Should people who love to to sing, dance and express themselves go to the X-Factor and sell their souls to the proverbial devil? As a lover of music which I think a huge majority of the human race are, I think the X-Factor is a unique platform to which all aspiring singers/performers are given a chance to shine even if it's through the corporate gateway.

One thing cannot be denied and that is that Simon Cowell is a visionary man who can instinctively spot talent and drag it kicking, screaming and Roaring to the front line and into the mainstream limelight.

Every year I sit down at my computer and watch on YouTube if not all of the videos at least 95% of the auditions and almost every Gala. It's wonderful to see the  natural talent grow and nourish with the astronomical backing of the X-Factor teams. It brings me countless hours of joy, wonder and an overall sense of spirituality, especial when you see these people opening up and showing their hearts to the world

It may not be the best way to be original but its most certainly the best way to become a superstar with amazing backing from the big boys.Bring on 2015 X-Factor.

Who are you(Original song)

Who Are you

There Comes a time in everyone's life when you look into a mirror and you don't recognize the person staring back at you.Just in that very moment you think that you dont know yourself anymore and wonder who are you? What are you? What have you become?

Break down the walls

Breakdown The Walls

So break down the walls refers to the barriers that we all put up to protect ourselves when we get older. We're afraid to get hurt so we build a refuge where we feel comfortable and I wanted to break free from this refuge because I was tired of being alone.I met a girl/woman, I say it that way because I do believe she has some emotional problems that she needs to resolve and the way she keeps her distance. She wants something with me but she's afraid to go too fast but instead she's going at a deathly pace that could potentially kill off any feeling a man could have for her.So I wrote this song to try to help her see these barriers and maybe allow ourselves a chance to have a romance.

Moving on to the song

Moving on

This song was originally written to reflect on how I felt after a disturbing and horrible break up for me yet it was straight forward and easy for my ex as I put up no resistance to her wish for a divorce but it cut me up like nothing ever before and after 2 years divorced I decided I needed to move on and forget my one true love and get with the program. This song reflects that decision for change.
